John Eldridge - Pianist /Conductor /Educator (musical Theater Specialist)

John is a music teaching artist located outside Boston, MA and a recent alum of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio with the B.A. in Music. He is an accomplished pianist, uniquely trained in both classical and jazz but with a diverse understanding of repertoire from other styles including opera, musical theater, R&B, pop, rock, and a variety of multicultural genres. He has experience conducting choral ensembles, bands and orchestras from primary school age through college level and beyond, and he has served as Music Director (often a fusion of vocal coach, pianist and conductor) for over 15 musical theater productions in the past five years. John has spent the last five years teaching at the Middlesex School Summer Arts program in Concord, Massachusetts, where he works in the music department and teaches classes on vocal technique, musical theater repertoire, and introductory jazz performance. Additionally, he serves as the music director for two productions every season with both the youngest (8-10) and oldest (14-16) students in the program.
